The First World War from Above (2010)

While making this film Alice Doyard uncovered rare archival footage. She found film taken from a French airship in summer 1919, showing the battlefields in a way never seen before.
Alice and Fergal Keane met the daughter of the airship pilot and showed her film of her father - her first time seeing a living image of him. He was killed by the Gestapo when she was a baby.
Like much of their work, the film warns about the forces that can overwhelm Europe without lasting peace.
